arrival
I purchased this bike as a "Salvage-Title" on e-bay. The first time I saw it in person was at the San Francisco airport where it just arrived form Colorado.

arrival
It's a bummer I didn't take a picture of it when it was still in it's crate...it looked like a caged animal. Once uncrated and loaded into my truck, I was able to take a closer look at what I was in for.

homecoming
All-in-all, I still felt that it was a good find.

homecoming
The work began by stripping the bike down and removing and tagging everything that was questionable.

homecoming
Unfortunately, there was a lot of "questionable" items. Fortunately there is e-bay and the internet. Example I heard a new tank from Ducati is about $1200, I got one with a tiny ding for $200.

homecoming
Found some great people to do business with on the internet. Below is a partial list:

Other modifications that I have made:

homecoming
Ferracci Carbon Fiber Slip-ons - They sound great, save a ton of weight, and look SWEET!
homecoming
MAG-Knight Carbon Fiber look Tank Bra - Helps protect the tank from scuffs, matches the exhaust, and actually insulates my legs from the cold tank.
homecoming
SpeedScreen tinted windscreen - Just the coolest looking and best fitting windscreen made, IMHO.
homecoming
Frame sliders from "Cycle-Cat". A must if you are planning to ride your bike seriously! These installed rather easily with just a minor modification to the battery box (and cutting a hole in the plastic!).
