BIM Manager: 2008-Present (Revit 2011 Certified Professional)

Creation and implementation of our BIM standards throughout the firm. Training our firm on the use of Revit Architecture and Structure. Currently in the process of learning MEP, and Navisworks along with fine-tuning our BIM Project Execution Planning template. Created templates for use in developing projects that follow our standards and especially to ease the transition of staff from AutoCAD to Revit. Created an on-line reference and training manual including screen-capture images and animations.

CAD Manager: 2005-Present

Creation and implementation of our CAD standards throughout the firm. Transitioned the firm from an outdated proprietary layering system to the AIA / Tri-Service standards. Created templates for use in developing projects that follow our standard layering, file, and folder structures. Created an on-line reference and training manual including screen-capture images and animations. Implemented a training program and schedule of instructional classes for our CAD staff.

IT Manager: 2000-Present

Responsible for updating the hardware and software used within the firm along with maintaining each computer to run at optimum efficiency. Maintain servers for optimum performance, security, and expandability. Recommend and implement hardware and software updates and replacements. Created and maintain our company FTP server. Created and maintain our company intranet. Responsible for creating and maintaining the company website. Created all graphics for the site as well as all programming.

CAD drafter, Architectural Renderings, Animations, Website: 2000-Present

Develop detailed 3-D models of structures and their environments and create realistic renderings and animations of both interiors and exteriors. Create artwork and animations for client's review, proposal packages, brochures, job signs, marketing materials, and the firm's website. Develop the firms website and update with current projects.

Business Development Manager:

Responsible for pro-actively researching Hollywood and racing properties for possible license opportunities. Responsible for creating, reviewing, and updating all Proposal letters and Letters of Intent. Manage relationships with Hollywood studios. Manage relationship and product procedures with SCEA (Sony) and NOA (Nintendo). Helped organize and develop our US based Design Group. Managed the motion capture portion of the Navy SEAL game.

 

Sierra On-Line, Oakhurst, CA. 1994 - 1999
Producer / Project Manager: 1996-1999

Responsible for acquiring, reviewing, and maintaining all necessary Licenses and Contracts for my projects. These have included Warner Bros., Netter Digital, Babylonian Productions, Sonic Images, EFX, Writers, Actors, Directors, Studios, and other specialists. Presented projects to upper management (through quarterly milestone meetings), Licensors, Press, and the public. Created aggressive yet realistic schedules for my teams, and followed them within the agreed upon budget. Organized and tracked the progress of all aspects of my projects (including design, art, programming, audio, music, and any outside contracts), extrapolated accurate completion dates, and made any necessary adjustments to correct problems. Hired, trained, and developed quality employees and generated a strong 'team' approach to projects. Researched hardware and software for the Oakhurst, CA division.

Projects: Babylon 5: Into the Fire (space combat simulator), Official Guide to Babylon 5, Red Baron II-Multi-Player, assisted on Lighthouse and various other smaller projects.

Game Artist: 1994-1996

Responsible for editing, post-production, and organization of projects. Liaison between Artists and all other groups related to the project, including Designers (Roberta Williams, Jane Jensen), Programmers, Audio Technicians, Musicians, film studios, and management. Tracked all the animation, background art, and art processes throughout projects and extrapolated completion dates. Trained new team members in the use of relevant art tools, video editing, and post-production processes. Received all art related bug reports and distributed them accordingly. Researched art-related hardware and software for the Oakhurst, CA division and the Bellevue, WA Division.
